What we collect
When you request an estimate we collect your name, phone number, email address, project type, location, planning and drawings status, and any details you add. We may also collect basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare an estimate and, if you go ahead, carry out and manage your project. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
Who we share it with
We share data only where needed to deliver your project, for example quantity surveyors, structural engineers and Building Control, and with service providers who help us run our enquiry systems. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t proceed are kept for no longer than necessary. Project records are kept for as long as required for legal, insurance and guarantee purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, and request a copy. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
